By accessing or using SQLSigma ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
2. Description of Service
SQLSigma is a SQL analysis and optimization platform that integrates with Google BigQuery to provide:
- SQL query analysis and linting
- Query optimization suggestions
- Schema visualization and exploration
- Query history and management
The Service requires you to authenticate with a Google account and grant access to your Google Cloud resources.
3. Account Registration
To use SQLSigma, you must:
- Sign in with a valid Google account
- Grant the required OAuth permissions
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
- Share your account credentials with third parties
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Violation of these terms may result in immediate termination of your account without notice.
5. Your Data
You retain all rights to your data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to access and process your data solely to provide the Service.

6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by SQLSigma and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

The Service integrates with third-party services, including Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and conditions.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.
8. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance
- Emergency repairs
- Factors beyond our control
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
- The Service will meet your specific requirements
- The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Query suggestions will be accurate or optimal
- Any defects will be corrected
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SQLSIGMA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Loss of profits or revenue
- Loss of data
- Business interruption
- Costs of replacement services
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SQLSigma and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
12. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time through the Settings page. We may terminate or suspend your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- Your use poses a security risk
- Required by law
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in San Francisco, California.
